Parish News (January 14 & 15, 2023)

  • All are invited to stay after the Sunday 9am mass to pray the Rosary.
  • Next weekend’s second collection will be for Respect Human Life.  John the Baptist’s mission to make known the Lamb can be accomplished in many ways. You can help our community “behold the Lamb” through the way you sacrifice to support our Annual Appeal. Join us in making him known to our community!
  • There will be no daily mass this Tuesday, January 17th and Wednesday, January 18th.
  • We need volunteers to be available after the 1:30pm mass next Sunday, January 22 to help remove the pews and other items from the church to be begin the floor replacement project. While we are hoping to be finished in time for mass the weekend of the 27th and 28th, if the project is not complete, we will have mass in the Parish Hall.
  • We are looking for volunteers to help with buildings and grounds. We are also looking for volunteers to help with the kitchen and social events. If you are interested, please call the
    parish office.
  • Registration is open for English and GED classes offered by Sacred Heart Center. The representatives will be here in the hall on Tuesday and Thursday (Jan 17 & 19) from 6pm-8pm for in-person registration.  Basic English will be offered at St. Augustine starting February 7. Other classes, including English and GED are available at the center.
  • The office will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
