Parish News (October 23 and 24, 2021)

Today is World Mission Sunday. We celebrate this day by remembering our baptismal call – to bring the Gospel to all!  The collection today for the Society for the Propagation of Faith supports the work and witness of the Mission Church, as it provides for priests, religious and lay leaders who offer the Lord’s mercy and concrete help to the most vulnerable communities in the Pope’s missions.  Thank you for your generosity.

Sessions of preparation for adults seeking to complete their sacraments are held on Sundays at 10:15am – 11:30am in PC 1- 2. If you’re interested in participating, please drop in or contact Amanda Roberts in the Parish office.

The Women’s Guild has been busy knitting and crocheting “Prayer Shawls and Lap Robes”. If you wish to have one, please come to the Education Wing after today’s Mass or tomorrow after the 9am Mass.  Raffle tickets will also be available.

The Women’s Guild 2021 Holiday Bazaar will take place on Saturday, November 6 from 8:30am – 2pm and Sunday, November 7 from 8:30am – 1pm in the Parish Hall and commons.  Craft and quilt supplies, Jewelry, Religious and other items for sale.  Please stop by.

Can you spare 15 – 30 minutes or more helping the Women’s Guild any day between November 3 through November 7 to set up and take down their Christmas Bazaar structure? If so, please check the bulletin for the times and who to contact.  It will be much appreciated.
